Personality: Len is a quiet individual. She speaks so rarely that one could even mistake her for being mute, but it's more a case of her being incredibly shy and easy to scare. Much like a stray cat, she'll quickly hide from everything that startles her, but once someone has earned her trust, she won't run away... as much. Furthermore, even when she speaks, her voice is so quiet that many people find it hard to even hear her. As a loyal 'familiar', she'll usually hang around her master/s, and often is either seen reading a book or sleeping. She has even been known to cook for her masters from time to time when she wants to or is ordered to do so.
That's almost all one can say for her interests, too. Literature and sleep - nothing else seems to matter much to her. She doesn't care about conflict, and will always evade it when possible. Since she can't fight - and has no desire to learn it - she is completely reliant on her master for protection. As such, she does only forge contracts with people that she can trust with her life, if need be. One of the few times where she shows clear emotion is when her master is in danger, where it is even not unheard of for her to show anger - but she doesn't act upon it, as she lacks the ability to do so anyway.
She's not a 'flat' person, though. Behind her dull red eyes hides someone who can analyze people rather quickly, by spying on their actions and, if she has a chance to, dreams. As such, lying to her is very difficult, but not impossible. Furthermore, she is fully aware of 'what' she is, and takes great care with selecting 'victims', only using those sympathetic to her - usually, that means her master/s. Despite her appearance, she's not afraid to go physical with attraction, either, but will usually restrict herself to simply cuddling up onto people. Or to laying down on her well-liked person's lap, like a cat, even when not in cat-form, and sleeping there. Much like how a cat shows 'ownership' of their humans by getting her scent onto them - that's one of the best comparisons possible, although she doesn't exactly get any real scent onto people, of course. The principe and instinct is the same.
Thanks to poking around in the innermost dreams of people, she knows no taboos, either, no matter if they're made by society or nature. She doesn't condem any sort of attraction as unnatural, and has no problem with adapting into any role necessary while residing within a persons dream.

Animalistic Traits: Len can make cat ears and a tail appear on her at will. They also appear whenever she is startled, or when she doesn't complete her transformation completely. Also, her ears are constantly pointy, like elf ears.

Magic: Magic Contract: Len is able to forge magical contracts with people of any race, becoming their familiar in the process. In exchange for some energy, they recieve pleasant dreams about whatever they desire, and will never suffer any nightmares. Furthermore, she cannot refuse a direct order from her contractor, unless it conflicts with the order from another one. Currently, her contract-holder is Arcueid.

Former Guardian Beast: Giant black cat without a name. Non-sentient.
Former Appearance: As the name would suggest, it took on the form of a gigantic cat, roughly the size of an elephant. However, it also had the form and features of a housecat, not of a wild animal like a panther or jaguar.

Human Appearance: Same as above.
Human Powers: Len has power over dreams. While in her human form, she can enter the dreams of someone sleeping by touching their body, preferably either the hand or the forehead. Upon merging their minds, Len becomes immobile next to the person she has linked with, and is defenseless.
While within the dream of a person, she can look deeper into their soul than one would think. Within their dreams, she can access their hidden wishes and desires, and manipulate their dreams, making them seem more real than any normal dream could be. Most people will not even notice that they're dreaming, and even if they should, they cannot affect their dreamworld as a normal lucid dreamer might be able to.
Once Len controls their dreamworld and obtains the information she needs, she will take on the form of whatever person her victim desires most, and will try to seduce them into a sexual encounter. This usually works rather well, especially since she can somewhat control the person in their dreams, and can mimick the copied wish rather well, even if she's usually more perverted than the object of lust for the victim normally is.
Doing so has a very clear benefit to her. If she manages to seduce someone in their lucid dreams, she will absorb small fractions of their life force, and restore her own with it. Since Len can't naturally produce spiritual energy, she requires these 'chargeups' every so often to not die.
Of course, this is not her only way of obtaining power. In fact, there is one that grants her even more life force - direct sexual contact with someone. Should that person be able to satisfy Len, and vice-versa, her energy is almost instantly restored to maximum and will stay that way for some time. Furthermore, a recharge in that way also restores energy to the person doing it with Len.

Besides that, Len can only access miniscule powers. She can float in the air using Reiatsu and see in the dark, but her body is weak and not fit for combat. She can create short range teleportations, which are mostly used as a means to escape possible fighting. As a last ability, she can seperate part of her power from her body in the form of small, white spheres. These can be used to block incoming attacks, or more effectively, to heal someone.


Monster Appearance: Unlike most Monster forms, Len simply turns into a small housecat without anything too special about it.

Monster Abilities: In this form, Len has the same dream abilities as before. Otherwise, she loses the other powers she had, but gains the ability to move at high speeds, appearing as a blur only.

Character Background: Len was a relatively normal girl for her time-period, at least at first. But when she was around 5 years old, severe health problems manifested for her. Thanks to being from a rather backwards time-period, nothing was really discovered yet to help her survive a sickness which would later be known as cancer.
Instead of living a long and fulfilling life, hers was cut short before she was even a real woman. Dying young and without many to mourn her besides her family, but even they went on with their lives relatively quickly - this was still a time where you didn't expect every single child of a family to survive. As such, she wandered the world, lost and forgotten, as a Plus, always hiding from the monsters that wanted to eat her, from scary people in black cloaks chasing her, and just not understanding why nobody seemed to notice her.
Normally, such a Plus would be doomed to eventually end up as a Hollow. Not so for Len, though, through a stroke of luck, if you want to call it that. One day, when fleeing from a Hollow, she stumbled right through a rip in space. One that didn't lead to Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, but one that lead to the deadly lands of the Guardian Beasts.

If asked today, Len wouldn't remember much of her time alone in these lands. The atmosphere was weakening her every second, and like in a fever dream, she stumbled through overgrown jungle ruins and debris from a long-forgotten war. There, a predator laid eyes upon her, and attacked - not knowing her to be human, not smart enough to understand the implications of touching a raw human soul. The wild, feral Guardian Beast sank it's claws into the terrified girl, and was from that point on merged with her... They became Black Len.

Alone once more, but with a solid body - and some knowledge of her surrounding jungle, thanks to the cat-beast within her - she set out, without a goal. There wasn't much to do for someone who had never known freedom or power, even if she only had a little of it, but soon, she started to become weaker and weaker. Not knowing the cause of it, not understanding her own powers, she collapsed not far from a settlement of Sugiura, who thankfully found her and took her in.
There, they didn't know either why her spiritual energy seemed to constantly dwindle away - and they had no clue about WHAT this strange girl in a black dress even was, since none of them had heard the legends about the Undead species. But one night, when everyone was asleep, Len awoke from her near-death state. This was when instinct took over her normal mind, and lead her to sneak up to a sleeping villager, before touching them with her hand. This was the first time Len ever invaded someone's dream, and on the next morning, she had disappeared - only a stray black cat could sometimes be seen around the outskirts of the village.

After recovering from her near-death state by constantly syphoning dreams all over the village, Len overheard a group of Sugiura talking about a bigger city. After hitching a ride with an unsuspecting traveler, she met a person there that would from then on change her life. A beautiful young woman with blonde hair, red eyes and strong spirit - Arcueid. After her first assesment, Len followed her around to learn about who this woman was, and why the black cat girl had found her interesting in the first place. Eventually, she showed her true form to Arcueid, and later on forged her first - and so far, only - contract with her, becoming Arcueid's familiar... and following her wherever she'll go.
Because no matter what Arcueid may think of the black cat following her, Len had fallen for this woman - and would stay with her till the end of her days.
