Personality: Yukie is the epitome of shyness. Though, that is incorrect to an extent. Yukie is too proper to be around others. She is too proper around everyone she is around. She feels that she has no place in upper society, so she is constantly apologizing and no matter who it is, Yukie feels she is below him or her. She constantly overly-apologizes for things that aren't even her fault, as well as things so minuscule things that no one would ever even notice. She makes up with the person by making lunch, though she is still apologetic and feels that the meals she cooks are not enough to make up for whatever she did to wrong someone.

When Yukie speaks, she speaks fast. Fast is just a generalization. She runs her words together and finishes her sentences over twice as fast. She stutters absolutely horribly. She rarely speaks slowly, as so far there is no one she feels comfortable with. Yukie doesn't tell about her past, nor her aspirations, to anyone. She feels that she is dreaming too big and that her past is too high-class for someone like her. Yukie, when she does open up, is still very shy. She might smile a bit, but even so, she doesn't do much when it comes to talking. She likes to hear other people talk about themselves. Rather, she listens to others so she still doesn't have to talk about her own past. -

Yukie may be shy, and she may be insecure about herself. Yukie is not insecure about her ability to wield a sword. Yukie is not over-confident in it either. She knows her limits and weaknesses, so she does not hold back when challenged to a duel... as long as no one is watching aside from those she feels comfortable with. When she duels, she is ready to change her fighting style as soon as possible. She goes by the philosophy that one must be able to turn one's body into a sword.

Natural Abilities

Natural Abilities: Yukie's sword is, at a distance, a common-looking sword. However, it is far from common. The scabbard is made of black ivory and not wood, like one would usually be. Its handle is wrapped in carbon-silk-polymers. Underneath the wrapping, there is a gold-covered solid Bull Oak handle. The tsuba is less ornate, but it is quite strong for a Tsuba. It is painted black to match the rest of the sword, but it has a gold trim around the edges.
Yukie is a swordswoman. There is no other way to describe her. She lives, breathes, and will die by the sword. Yukie's skill is mainly in her own style of Kenjutsu, Mayuzumi-Ryuu. She does have a decent amount of energy, but it has not molded into a specific type of power.

• Number One: Nadegiri (撫で斬り, "Clean Sweep" or "Killing Several with One Sword Sweep"): This basic technique allows for a precision cut of extreme force and speed, it can casually slice through large, multi-story high opponents protected by steel skin. The opponent can be killed with one swift slash so precise, that they aren't even aware of until after it has taken place.
  
  
• Number Three: Aragari (アラバマ物語, "To Kill a Mockingbird"; "one step, sudden death"): Placing the sheathed sword upright and listening to the "heartbeat" of her opponent, the attack rapidly unsheathes, attacks, and sheaths the sword. This technique is done with with incredible precision and speed, as she cuts down her opponent in a matter of seconds. This technique is capable of leaving deep, precise wounds in an opponent's body in a matter of milliseconds
  
  
• Number Four: Kamishini (神キラー, "God Killer" or "Cutting down God with a Single Slash"): By swinging the user's sword across, they can make a sweeping motion that cuts everything within 4 m of the user. The force behind this technique is great enough to defeat Hollows with little effort.
  
  
• Number Six: Gyaku Karasu (逆烏, Reverse Raven): The user uses shunpo to quickly get behind their opponent and then quickly doing a reverse spin hitting their opponent with the back edge of edge sword, slicing into them with an accurate and rapid slash.
  
  
• Number Eight: Kujira Shōgeki (鯨衝撃, "Whale Crash" or "Crushing Whale Impact"): A technique that mimics the motion of a whale's tail that rises above the ocean and then crashes back onto it. While lacking speed like other techniques, this technique has been noted to be exceptionally powerful. There are no direct descriptions of the technique. Hence, the "Crushing Whale Impact" has been reconstructed as a technique involving a light upward slash, following a demolishing slash downward , the force of which was able to create a giant crater and destroy the surrounding buildings.
  
  
• Number Nine: Hayabusa Tobikomi (隼飛び込み, "Peregrine Falcon Dive"): This advanced technique allows for the user to slice their opponent using super sharp and quick slices of razor sharp wind and energy that can completely rip the target to shreds. It can cut through the Hierro of an arrancar or the reiatsu of even high level shinigami.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: Yukie was born to a very proficient swordsman in Hokkaido. Her mother was a talented cook at a very high-end restaurant. Her parents were, however, extremely traditional and uptight. Everything Yukie did, even taking her first steps and first words, was subject to extremely harsh criticism. She was brought up to be extremely proper, and was taught by her uncle at home. Her uncle was as radical as her father and mother, but he was smarter than both of them combined and doubled. He saw the potential and not the downfalls in Yukie and decided to recommend her to be trained in both her mother and father's professions.

Yukie's parents were reluctant to do so, but they caved in eventually. Yukie was put under even more stress as she learned how to use her body as a sword, use the katana, and cook elegant meals. The first thing Yukie mastered was cooking. It took 5 years, but she eventually was able to cook even the strangest dishes. Taking up the sword next, Yukie mastered her father's style of kenjutsu. Her father and mother were very impressed for once. Yukie then was to be taught the pursuits of the mind... but her uncle had passed away after an attack by a hollow. So, Yukie was sent to a school somewhere in outside of Hokkaido.

There, Yukie's proper-ness was overwhelming. She was too proper for the laid-back town she was sent to. She made no friends at the school and instead found a charm at a street vendor that she considered her friend. The charm was Matsukaze. Yukie then, by chance, ran into someone carrying a katana on the outskirts of the city. The meeting was awkward, with both of their swords falling onto the ground. The woman challenged Yukie to a duel, and Yukie accepted. Yukie lost after only a few minutes, and the woman helped Yukie up. She offered to train Yukie in another style of kenjutsu. Yukie humbly accepted and occasionally meets with her now-teacher to train.
