The Serious Side While Kazekiri may no seem like he truly cares about other people, he simply has a serious outlook on things. When not around his friends nor people he knows, Kaze is known to simply look at everything in a view point that would reflect his own decisions within the Vizard Squadron of Karakura. One that is rarely seen having fun, he is quiet and decisive when it comes to this side of his personality, only showing it when there aren't people that he knows around. So, with that, this side is rarely seen unless you personally know Kaze from the Squadron or you don't actually know the male. Another quirk to this side of Kaze's personality is that he rarely speaks his opinion when he is being serious, tending to sit back and take everything in rather than interject and state his own ideas.

The Simple Side While there is the obvious side of Seriousness to Kaze, he also has a side to where he simply does whatever he wishes, this is his more simple side. This simple side is not a side that Kaze shows often due to his obscene need to work or show seriousness, but when it is being shown it must meant that he values you as a friend or an ally, someone he can confess simple things to. This is not so much a state of being, but more so just a side that usually is not expressed when in public. Kaze


Appearance: Other than the appearance that is shown in the picture below, Kaze has one special quirk to his appearance, that being his scars. Kazekiri has scarred tissues caused from burns that are induced during the use of his Zanpakutō. This burns span from his waist line all the way up to the reaches of his neck, the collar of his shirt usually covering only a slight amount of the burns. Along with that, Kaze has these burn marks spanning his back and shoulders along with stretching along his arms, stopping just before his elbows. With that, Kaze always has bandages that are carefully wrapped around his arms and body in general to hide these scars due to a sense of shame that corrospond with his past and the scars themselves.

Unreleased Abilities:

The Ability to Bicker As stupid as this ability seems to be, it is quite infact an ability that both Kaze and his Zanpakuto Spirit Sora have shown to use. Simply put, the ability is a passive of sorts that occurs when the two are simply bickering or arguing with one another. Whether he be out of Shikai and Bankai or within his Hollowfied State, Kaze has always shown that Sora is quite the woman to bicker with, whether to situation showed for it or not. This ability does not give any special powers to Kaze nor does it effect how he is as a Vizard, it is simply there due to the neverending arguements he seems to get when he and Sora interact as a duo.

Heat Application: This is an ability that has been used countless times by Kaze in battle. What this ability allows him to do is by placing a small amount of his own reiatsu into his Zanpakuto as a medium of sorts, he is able to shift the temprature of the blade's edge quite significantly, bringing it to tempratures that would be able to burn another's skin easily. This is also used to allow him to cut through objects with greater ease by having the added heating element to the blade's metal, making it a dual power of sorts. Usually, the ability is not very draining but if he were to beaten or drained of his energy in some way or another, the ability would become all but useless if it were not able to reach the standard temprature to allow him to burn people or objects.

Hand to Hand Combat

Kido Level Kaze, despite being able to use his hand to hand combat rather well, has also been able to hone his skills as a Kido user. Within his years of training, Kaze has been able to amplify his skill within this area, allowing him to use kido such as Hadō 90, although it is not without strain on his body or without the chant that goes along with this Hadō, but none the less he is able to create kido with great ease at this point in his life. Another addition to his skill of kido is that he has created his own, showing that he is able to comprehend the idea of kido and even manipulate his energy into creating new forms of kido, mostly based around his powers of fire.

Most Canon Kido are able to be used by Kazekiri, even the Forbidden Kido in extreme situations. Along with that, most Kido up to level 75 do not rely on an incantation while those above do, including the forbidden kido Kaze knows.

Un-Numbered Kido that have been used by Kazekiri:

Flame Projection This is one of the more powerful Kido that Kaze had created in his time of learning and developing himself as a kido user. By conjuring the reiatsu at his disposal, Kaze is able to project a wall of flames that stand between him and his opponent. Sometimes, this wall's shape can be manipulated by instead forming a ring of sorts to trap both himself and an opponent together. As this Hadō is of Kaze's own creation, he does not need an incantation to use it within battle against an opponent.

Flame Envelopment As the ability's name itself explains

Zanpakutō: Kiri's blade resembles that of any normal Katana, being about 2 feet in length with a width of an inch and a half, it is constantly looped through a hole in his belt at all times. The blade's grip is of a bright blue coloring while the blade itself and the hilt are of an onyx coloring. Along with all of this, there sits a blue ribbon on the sheathe of his zanpakuto aside a carving that had been embellished with a purple coloring to show it popping from the sheathe itself.

Other Weapons: Currently, Kiri uses no other type of weapon aside from a simple gun that has been modified to allow for spiritual bullets to be shot. These spiritual bullets are quite simple to understand, a specific amount of reiatsu being placed into each bullet as it is fired to allow for a weapon that can possibly be used against other spiritual beings if the need arises, which it rarely as for Kaze.



Zanpakutō Spirit Name: Sora
Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:
Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: Unlike Kazekiri himself, Sora has been shown to be a brash and rather rude female. She does not take the time or effort to make Kaze or anyone for that matter feel welcomed, nor does she take the time to make anyone other than herself happy. Although this may be the outer appearance of Sora's personality, she has an underlying portion that has never actually shown itself to anyone, not even Kaze. This portion would be the kind side of Sora, the side that, although it may not be direct, wants to make sure people are happy or at least living.
Zanpakutō Spirit's World: Sora's world is quite simply both in concept and description. Open fields that reach as far as Kaze or Sora herself can see, along with a clear, aqua blue sky that is never changed. It is a peaceful world, one that does not entirely represent Sora's personality or appearance, but still somehow is conjured by her. Another odd factor of her world is that it rains from time to time. Even due to this rain though, the sky will still yield the same, aqua blue coloring that it has always shown. Shikai: Honō no Megami
Shikai Appearance: Kaze's appearance changes only slightly from his original appearance, the bandages that wrap constantly around his body are removed due to the intense heat and fire that errects itself from his body and the scars that are now revealed from the bandages being removed glow with a darkred coloring. This glow is rather faint but it is still seeable by the naked eye when in combat. Aside from that, the only other factor that has been shown to appear when Kazekiri enters Shikai is that his arms are fully covered in burnt flesh instead of just his upper arms, the wounds from his Shikai reemerging each time he enters it.

Inner Hollow Appearance: (A picture or five sentences)
Inner Hollow Personality: Unlike Kaze's Zanpakutō spirit, his Inner Hollow represents that of a kind, peaceful spirit, whether she be a hollow or not. Unlike most Hollows, Kaze's Inner Hollow was formed not to consume and control him, but to help and protect him. She has a kind and loving personality opposed to Sora, and has always been the type of female to simply give Kaze advice or help when he is need. Kaze himself doesn't understand how he has conjured a Hollow within him that did not wish to fight, but it had happened, and she was a simple being at most. Overall, she is kind and caring, nothing much more could be said about her.
Hollow Mask Appearance: Kaze's Hollow mask is quite simply in design, only having a few odd things to it. One would notice that when Kaze forms his mask, it completely removes the scars that have been burned into his body, acting as a healing factor of sorts when entering this masked state.

Character Background: So, to wield this power, I have to accept the pain. Huh? Kaze's breath was heavy, the world around him seemed to drift slowly off as his eyes began to fill with black dots, a void of darkness seeming to envelop his vision. The world that he knew as beautiful and uncorruptable, he couldn't see it anymore. Sora turned her head, spitting to the side as fire enveloped the grass of her inner world. It's your choice. Protect those you want protected and hurt yourself in the process, or let them and yourself die. Which will it be, Baka? It was silent between the two now, Kaze and Sora exchanging no words as he sighed. Taking the blade from his sheathe, Sora's inner world disipated as Kaze's mutulated body lay dorment in Karakura, his vision falttering slightly as he stumbled to stand. Guess.. I have no choice. With one step at a time, Kaze slowly made his way to a stand position as blood dripped quickly from his head, a gash behind his left ear gushing blood quite steadily, his vision shifting every single second that had passed. If I have to do this, for the sake of others.. and myself.. then so be it. Raising his Zanpakuto into the air in front of him, Kaze pointed at the Rogue Shinigami that stood before him. He snickered, a slight giggle emerging from his mouth as he stared at Kazekiri. Weakling, Eh'? What do you plan to do with your body torn to pieces like that? You're nothing but a weakling! Ahahahahah. Closing his eyes, Kaze lowered his head. You can think what you will.. But I'll end this now. I will NO Longer see this power as a burden, I WILL allow myself to control it, I WILL NOT LET THE LIKES OF YOU OR ANYONE HARM THOSE I WISH TO PROTECT. Kazekiri's energy flared greatly as his head lifted once more, the cyan blue eyes that he had seemed to look directly into the Shinigami's soul, the evil and dread he had caused being brought forth by Kaze's gaze. YOU WILL NOT DO THIS TO ANYONE, EVER AGAIN. With Flames That Scar, SPREAD, SORA NO HONOU NO MEGAMI. A Blood Curdling scream was projected from Kazekiri's throat, his body being enveloped by flames as the male's upperbody clothing began to slowly burn away. As the bandages that covered his body began to slowly burn away, Kaze swiped his blade downward, flames scattering across the ground as further burn marks began to form on the entirety of his arms. THESE ARE YOU FINAL MOMENTS. I WILL NEVER LET YOU HARM ANOTHER PERSON AGAIN, NEVER. The anger that Kazekiri had gained for this man was ridiculous, his body shaking with rage. As he quickly drew his blade back, the man simply stood and laughed. Laughing, the lat thing the man would have ever done was laugh, what a fitting end, Kaze though. Moving forward with blinding speed, Kaze sliced downward, a sea of flames surrounding himself and the man, burning him to a crisp as Kaze burned himself. The heat exerting from Kaze's skin was dumbfounding, the blood within his body boiling only slightly as he winced in pain, spitting up blood. Dropping to his knees, the flames around him simply dimmed, completely dispersing as he passed out into the void once more.
