| Kirino didn't have much of an answer, she just said the poke was something she did. Now Kirino wasn't technically lying, but Minami was fooled into thinking it really was nothing. As her leg buckled. Kirino held herself so Minami wouldn't collapse into the grass. There wasn't much of an argument, and Kirino braced Minami. Minami complied with what she said and stood on one foot. Kirino then turned around and told Minami to hop on her back. Minami did so without argument. She wrapped her arms around the front of Kirino and held on as Kirino lifted her from the ground. Kirino began to walk and begin talking about how eventful the day was. It really was. Minami helped Kirino figure out her algebra, they got to know each other a little better, and Kirino ended up saving Minami's life. Not to mention Minami now had STRONG feelings for Kirino. Minami wasn't sure if she was happy or sad at Kirino's apparent obliviousness. I mean, Minami had stuttered over herself a lot around Kirino, so it seemed normal. Still, Kirino didn't think (or at least show signs of thinking) that anything was off when Minami's voice kept nervously, shyly, and almost (but not quite) sadly. Minami just accepted it and nodded. "Thanks, but my ankle should be fine by then." Minami was carried all the way back to her room. Once there, she opened the door and was escorted to her bad. Minami said bye to Kirino and simply laid down. It wasn't time for bed, so all she could do was sit there and try to get her thoughts together. She wanted to collect and make sense of everything before doing anything too risky. | |
