King & Queen: The highest authority within the entire Sugiura kingdoms. The two rulers have almost absolute power equally—power rivaled only by that of the other royal. Although there is no explicit law for it, the King and Queen are usually a male and female that are married.
Crown Prince & Princess: The next in line to the throne. The current King or Queen may select one, and it could even be their own child—but it doesn't have to be.
Other Royalty: The families of the King, Queen, Crown Prince, and Crown Princess all gain a high royal status.
The High Council: These three Councilmen represent the three distinct provinces within the Sugiura Kingdom. They each are always from the province they represent. They have almost-absolute power over their own province that is only overridden by the King and/or Queen.
Nobility: Like the families of the King and Queen, the High Council's families also get a high status within society.
The Royal Guard: The royal family as well as the High Council all need protection, which is where the Royal Guard comes into play.
Commandant of the Royal Guard: The leader of the Royal Guard. He can give orders to all but two members of the Royal Guard—the Thily and Arren Guards.
Arren Guard: The guard that is specifically chosen to guard His Highness, the King of the Sugiura. He can only be ordered by the King to mobilize. He may not give orders to the other troops, unless the King is in immediate danger.
Thily Guard: The guard that is specifically chosen to guard Her Highness, the Queen of the Sugiura. He can only be ordered by the Queen to mobilize. He may not give orders to the other troops, unless the Queen is in immediate danger.
Members of the Royal Guard: These Royal Guard members protect the royal family as well as the High Council.
Knights: This is the name for the Sugiura Kingdom's armed forces' footsoldiers. They may not always be traditional knights, but they will be called as such.
Mages: These are the non-traditional soldiers for the Sugiura. They use magic in more ways than just fighting—scouting, healing, even transportation—so they receive their own category.
